Abstract
The e-HEALING registry is a prospective observational trial designed to capture real-world data on the use of the Genous EPC (Endothelial Progenitor Cells) capture R stent). Elderly patients (pts) revascularized by coronary angioplasty (percutaneous coronary intervention; PCI) constitutes a high-risk pt subgroup for bleeding events with the use of long-term dual antiplatelet therapy. Even more important, the need to suppress antiplatelet treatment because of comorbidities or for noncoronary surgery after stent implantation may increase the risk of stent thrombosis.
