Abstract
The chapter is devoted to topical issues of the introduction of artificial intelligence in sports. The definition of artificial intelligence is given, its types and main tasks are defined. The most common examples of the use of artificial intelligence in everyday life are given, including: Google Translator, Netflix, Tesla. Special attention is devoted to the evolutionary aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in the management of sports data. It has been established that artificial intelligence brings sports science to a new level of development. Thanks to it, huge amounts of data are collected and analyzed in real time. It allows coaches to monitor and improve the performance of athletes, and sports managers to collect quality sports statistics for effective decision-making.
