Abstract

Sidi Mabrouk et al. (e01596-22) adapted a high-throughput microfluidic system for long-term analysis of bacteriophage-bacterium interactions. The team applied the method to isolate phages from environmental samples. The use of an off-the-shelf product for phage studies is important to advance fundamental science in the field and facilitate environmental surveillance work.
