Abstract
AbstractWater Utilities (MIC: 7.2 SIC: 4941 NAIC:221310)Artesian Resources distributes and sells water to residential, commercial, industrial, governmental, municipal and utility customers throughout Delaware. As of Dec 31 2003, Co. had approximately 70,000 metered customers and served a population of approximately 230,000 (including contract services), representing about 29.0% of Delaware's total population. Co. also provides water for public and private fire protection to customers in its service territories. Co.'s gross water sales revenue by major customer classifications for 2003 were 62.0% for residential, 32.0% for commercial, industrial, governmental, municipal and utility, and 6.0% for fire protection and other.
