Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) is nowadays, 20 years after the first publication by Dotter, an accepted part of the therapeutic scheme of arterial occlusive disease treatment. Reocclusion and restenosis following PTA occur quite frequently, aneu rysms, however, in the area of treatment are extremely rare. A pertinent obser vation is reported here because of its clinical and pathogenic pecularity.
