Art Design of Public Facilities Based on Smart City

Abstract

In recent years, with the continuous increase of urban population, the development of cities is facing huge obstacles. Therefore, improving the design of urban public facilities has become an urgent issue to improve the living standards of urban residents and build a smart city. In this paper, we are designing public facilities, introducing the concept of public art design, and intuitively and completely expressing the spatial form of the theme appearance of public facilities by means of art, which not only meets the needs of urban construction, but also meets people’s aesthetic needs. This paper analyzes the use of public facilities by different classes of people, constructs urban space from the perspective of humanization, and then proposes its design scheme by taking public lighting facilities as an example, and proposes lighting facilities design planning from the perspective of urban image. The art design of public facilities based on smart cities not only meets the needs of public behavior and activities, but also makes the city a symbol of condensing regional energy and releasing vitality.
