Abstract

In the present investigation, a high-quality nanosheet-like hexagonal Cu2ZnCd (S, Se)3 thin film has been synthesized via facile, simple and cost effective arrested precipitation technique (APT) through the complex stability, and release of metal ions. The surface morphology, chemical, optical, compositional and electrochemical properties of the resultant Cu2ZnCd (S, Se)3 thin film studied systematically. X-ray photoelectronic results show that stoichiometric composition. EIS reveals low value of resistance, power conversion efficiency of photoanode obtained was 0.62% in an aqueous polysulfide electrolyte.
