Abstract
This text sets out the results of a study that examined the symbologies of afro-Brazilian religions, especially the Candomble in “Tenda dos Milagres” miniseries, inspired by the work of Jorge Amado. The fragments of the chapters, the descriptions of the scenes and interviews with practitioners contextualize traditions and rituals that are part of the mythology of this strand, aiding the understanding of its representations in social space.
