Abstract

The US Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) has announced $33 million in funding for 13 new projects which aim to develop intermediate-temperature fuel cell (ITFC) technologies for low-cost distributed power generation. The projects are funded through ARPA-E's Reliable Electricity Based on ELectrochemical Systems (REBELS) programme [FCB, December 2013, p11].
