Abstract

Abstract Treatments were applied on 2 Mar on a seedling stand of ‘Cimmarron’ alfalfa in Greer County near Granite, Okla. Efficacy of several foliar sprays was determined for ACW. Insecticides sprays were applied using a ground rig with a 15-ft boom that was calibrated to deliver 12.0 gal/acre at 28 psi. Plots were 15 × 100 ft and arranged in a randomized complete block design of 3 replicates. Larval densities were determined at 2, and 7 DAT by sampling five 1.0 ft2 areas per plot. The upper 2 inches of soil was sieved through #2 hardware cloth to retrieve larvae for counting.
