Abstract
AbstractTokyo‐based international practice Kengo Kuma & Associates has in recent years been commissioned for two projects that mix the uses of café/roastery/shop on the one hand and printworks/museum on the other. Kengo Kuma tells the story of how these innovative projects have evolved – a mixture of cultural and social drift, planning zoning in the city of Tokyo and the architectural joy of combining functionally disparate building typologies.
