Abstract
En este trabajo se presentan someramente algunas ideas teóricas para contribuir a transformar la epistemología en un componente curricular de la formación inicial y continuada del profesorado de ciencias naturales. Luego se ejemplifican estas ideas en una actividad didáctica diseñada para acercar a los profesores de ciencias a la noción epistemológica de "carga teórica de la observación”.
