Abstract

At the dawn of Nueva Galicia and prior to the first printing house's establishment in New Spain, European forms begin to fill the shelves of religious foundations. Through them, new ideas, speeches and sermons of a society under construction are delineated. These forms are constituted as historical and artistic objects by themselves and are one of the greatest treasures of the bibliographic heritage of all Jalisco's inhabitants. The notes of the present research, analyze the historical and legal scenario of it's transfer overseas.
