Abstract

Interactivity brings new configurations to social communication, something that can also affect the contemporary citizenship’s formation. This work’s aim is to present experiences and practices of social communication regarding the interactive achievements reached through the Communicative Citizenship model. To do so, an exploratory study is performed, based in theoretical referential and documental research. The results point to the affinity between the interactive communication and the communicative citizenship models. They suggest that interactivity, if correctly used in the communicational process, provides citizens the access, participation, and use of produced and selfproduced information and knowledge.
