Abstract
New configuration of cylindrical reentrant cavity with modified shape of the metal post is considered. The eigen wavelengths of two lowest modes obtained numerically are compared with analogous parameters of conventional reentrant cavity. Approximate analytical expressions for calculation of resonant wavelengths are derived with the help of statistical package TableCurve3D. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
