Abstract

To the Editor: The number of immunosuppressed patients continues to rise,1 and they are at a significantly elevated risk of skin cancer.2 Inappropriate use of Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) may be more common in immunosuppressed patients.3 The impact of published MMS appropriate use criteria (AUC) on the rate of inappropriate utilization of Mohs micrographic surgery in the immunosuppressed population is uncertain.
