Abstract

Digital transformation and process approaches have significant potential for improving efficiency and development in the agroindustry. Digital tools like Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and blockchain enable data collection, analysis, process management, and interconnection of various entities within the APC production chain, facilitating informed decision-making, production optimization, and enhanced product quality. However, implementing digital transformation in the agroindustry faces challenges such as limited access to technology and infrastructure, shortage of skilled workforce, high costs of technology upgrades, and data security and confidentiality concerns. To overcome these challenges, attention should be given to education and training of specialists, financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises, development of partnerships among government entities, private sector, and academic institutions, and promotion of awareness and knowledge exchange.
