Abstract

Objective To observe the role of Gibbs reflective cycle in nursing simulation teaching and provide new ideas for nursing simulation teaching. Methods A total of 223 nursing staff who studied in the hospital from September 2016 to September 2017 were selected as research objects.According to time series, they were divided into control group and observation group.Control group consisted of 123 patients who received traditional nursing simulation teaching.The observation group consisted of 100 patients who received the new nursing simulation teaching mode with Gibbs reflecting cycle mode as the main teaching mode.At the end of the teaching, all nursing staff were given entrance examination, questionnaire survey and self-directed learning ability score. Results The specialty knowledge, satisfaction with teaching and self-directed learning ability of nursing staff in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Gibbs reflects on the cycle mode is conducive to the development of nursing simulation teaching, improve the professional knowledge of nursing staff to teach satisfaction and self-directed learning ability, it is worth promoting in the future nursing simulation teaching.
