Abstract
Abstract This chapter focuses on the applications of various crop models for the integration of research knowledge, integration of knowledge across disciplines, improvement in experiment documentation, crop genetic improvement, crop management research, geographical yield analysis, response to climate variation and change and environmental consequences of crop production. The crop management applications of these models for best management practices, pre-sowing and in-season decision aid for farmers, site-specific or precision farming and preharvest yield forecasting are discussed and some educational applications of these models are highlighted.
