Abstract
3d printing has been a recent research hotspot because of the performance of printing accurately, easy to operate and can complete the more complex objects, there are many advantages missing in subtractive manufacturing, and at the same time match the requirements of orthopaedic implant scaffolds, orthopaedic implant scaffolds as one of the main applications of bone tissue regeneration (BTR) has also been commonly studied, the current literature is mostly in its raw materials to do research. This paper introduces the three main materials and gives some examples to illustrate the role of scaffolds or implants obtained after they have been 3d printed in promoting BTR, emphasizing the potential appeal of 3d printing (3DP) in BTR
