Abstract

Objectives To explore the application value of narrow band imaging (NBI) guided transurethral resection of bladder tumor(TURBT) in the prevention and reduction of postoperative recurrence of bladder tumor. Methods A total of 120 cases of non muscle invasive bladder cancer were selected from January 2012 to June 2015 in our hospital. The patients were divided into observation group and control group, the control group of 63 patients with conventional white surgery in the treatment of transurethral resection, the observation group of 57 patients were treated with the NBI guide type by transurethral bladder tumor resection, two groups of patients with operation related index and clinical prognosis outcome were compared. Results All patients were successfully completed surgery, no medical accident, bladder perforation and other malignant events occurred. Catheter indwelling time, hospitalization time and postoperative complication rate in the two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). Postoperative follow-up results showed that postoperative recurrence rate of patients with bladder tumor in the control group was significantly higher than that of the observation group (P<0.05) and observe group mean recurrence survival time was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusions Curative effect of NBI-TURBT in the treatment of bladder tumor is accurate, and it can effectively reduce the postoperative recurrence rate, with clinical application and generalization.
