This multimedia training module is designed to help faculty identify and learn different ways of using emerging technologies to create learning experiences to enrich existing curricula in medical education. This resource includes an instructor's guide, a didactic PowerPoint presentation, a group activity worksheet with scenarios, an evaluation form, a list of resources for instructors, and a bibliography. This resource develops medical educators' knowledge of emerging technologies and equips them with the tools, techniques, and strategies in overcoming challenges in teaching learners of the millennial generation. Educational Objectives By the end of this resource, learners will be able to: Describe key functions and features of emerging technologies.Recognize popular emerging technologies used in medical education.Identify creative applications of these technologies in creating course-integrated learning activities to promote active learning of learners of the millennial generation.Apply the technologies to create instructional strategies to promote active learning.
