Abstract

AbstractLight‐emitting electroluminescent diodes and electrochemically‐driven electroluminescent devices involving conjugated polymers are described. The effect on the properties of polypyrrole films (deposited from aqueous polymerizing solutions of pyrrole) caused by the hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity of the substrate surface is utilized by a “microcontact printing” technique to form patterned liquid crystal display devices.
