Abstract
An optoelectronic memory system was constructed from two electroluminescent diodes and two photoconducting elements. Between one electroluminescent diode and one photoconducting element an optical feedback was provided so that these two components constituted a bi-stable system. Experimental details of preparation of the photoconducting electroluminescent type thin film systems and results of investigations of the memory element are presented. The conditions under which the investigated arrangement can act as an optoelectronic memory element are given.
