Abstract

Abstract The equation obtained by Butcher and Morys for the ratio of the real and imaginary parts of the a.c. hopping conductivity is applied to experimental data for three samples. It is found that, instead of yielding a constant value for τ0 for each sample, this equation yields values which show strong frequency and temperature dependence.
