Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of the heuristic teaching method in neurological clerkship teaching based on students'test scores.Methods 365 medical students of SUN Yat-sen University were divided into two groups.One group was taught by the heuristic teaching method,while the other wag taught by traditional teaching method.Case analysis examination and practical examination were carried out after the teaching.At the same time.questionnaire survey was administered to score the effects of the teaching methods by the students.Results The students'scores of case analysis examination and practical examination in the heuristic teaching group were higher than those in the traditional teaching group,in particular the localization diagnosis and practical results were statistically difference.There were obvious advantages of heuristic teaching method in problem-solving,capacity and clinical thinking training compared with traditional teaching method,while in othem there was no difference.Conclusions Heuristic teaching method was more superiority than traditional teaching method and could help to cultivate students'clinical thinking ability.
