Abstract
ABSTRACT The short radius horizontal hole drilling technique is used in ADCO operations to turn the uell bore from vertical to horizontal within the target reservoir in less than 44 ft of vertical hole. Experience gained from the drilled wells have been used to improve the drilling programme and drilling tools and which has continuously resulted in increasing the length of the horizontal hole at a reduced unit cost.
