Abstract

Objective To analysis performance assessment results of clinical nurses, and to explore the effect of quantitative management on nurse training and culture. Methods Quantitative evaluation was applied in performance assessment of nurses in terms of service quality, technical quality, attendance, skill test, credit,continuing education, professional title, paper publishing, position and duration, recognition and reward,scientific research and quality improvement. Results Professional title was found positively correlated with total score, professional ability and psychological quality. There was significant difference among the groups (P <0. 01). Total score of performance assessment, professional ability and psychological quality significantly increased with duration of work (P < 0. 01). Conclusions Performance assessment scores have shown an increasing trend with the application and improvement of the assessment. Quantitative performance evaluation can enhance nurses' service awareness, help to improve the overall quality of nurses, but also provide the basis for the trainning of nurses.
