Abstract
AbstractThe broad S1 → S0 emission spectra of fluoranthene at room temperature in solution and in solid state down to T = 25 K have been recorded in a standard photon counting experiment. The wavelength dependence of the photon count statistics have been measured. In time scales of several microseconds deviations from poission statistics are found which exhibit a fine structure not or less resolved in the broad luminescence spectrum.
