Abstract

The introduction of online courses such as microlectures and MOOCs has profoundly affected the education ecology. The use of online courses and related resources can promote the improvement of English teaching quality and help students to carry out independent and personalized learning, so that the classroom instruction efficiency can be enhanced. This paper analyzes the importance of online course resources, sorts out the problems related to online course resources in the current English teaching in colleges and universities, and discusses how to improve the effectiveness of online course resources for reference.
