Abstract
Objective To explore the application effects of Micro-Class mobile video teaching method in basic nursing skill teaching. Methods A total of 4 classes from Nursing 2016 of Beijing City University were recruited in September 2016 by stratified sampling combined with cluster sampling, and randomly divided into experimental group (n=75) and control group (n=78) with 2 classes in each. In the control group, traditional teaching method was adopted, while in the experimental group, Micro-Class mobile video teaching method was adopted combining with traditional teaching method. The theoretical performance and the practice skill results were compared between the two groups, and the teaching effect was evaluated. Results After being taught by different methods, the average scores of theoretical knowledge and practice skills of the experimental group were both higher than those of the control group (P<0.05) . In addition, compared with the control group, the students in the experimental group had been promoted in self-learning ability, problem solving ability, learning interest and class satisfaction, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) . Conclusions The Micro-Class mobile video teaching method can effectively improve the basic nursing skills level of nursing students, make up for the deficiencies in traditional teaching, and significantly improve students' comprehensive learning ability.
