Abstract
The structure and gasd chromatographic properties of the anion-exchange resins AN-221 and AN-211, which have enthylenediamine and hexamethylenediamine groups, respectively, have been studied. It was found that these resins show specific interactions and high selectivity with respect to amines, alcohols and water. The resins can be used for the separation of aliphatic amines, nitriles, and ketones and saturated and unsaturated hydrocarbons and for the determination of ammonia in water.
