Abstract

The patterns of occurrence of residual stresses with the simultaneous use of additive technologies and lasershock-wave processing (LSWP) are studied. The mechanisms of thermal decrease and increase, mechanical decrease and increase of compressive residual stresses during layer-by-layer build-up of the material and LSWP are described.
