Abstract

Objective To observe and analyse the application of isotonic solution nasal irrigation in repair after nasal endoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 375 patients with nasal endoscopic surgery were randomly divided into control group (191 cases) and observation group (184 cases) by random numbers. The patients of control group received routine nursing, while the patients of observation group underwent routine nursing and nasal irrigation. We compared postoperative recovery of nasal mucosa and nasal cavity adhesion of two groups. Results Nasal mucosa recovery of patients in observation group after operation was better than that of control group. Lund-Kennedy endoscopic mucosal pattern grading in control group was (4.62±1.45) points, comparing with observation group (3.28±0.94) points; sinus CT grading in control group was (5.51±2.36) points, comparing with (4.18±1.97) points in observation group (P<0.05). Conclusions Isotonic solution nasal irrigation after nasal endoscopic sinus opening surgery is benefit for the recovery of surgery area, can promote wound healing, and improve the success rate of surgery. Key words: Isotonic solution; Nasal irrigation; Nasal endoscopic surgery
