Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of improved pipeline suture fixation in neurosurgery nursing. Methods 558 cases were selected and divided into the control group (283 cases) and the observation group (275 cases). The control group was given the traditional suture fixation method, and the observation group was given the improved pipeline suture fixation. The pipeline shedding and local complications condition were observed and compared. Results 7 cases in the control group and 1 case in the observation group had unplanned pipeline shedding, the difference was significant ( χ^2 = 4.05, P 〈 0. 05 ). There was no significant difference in the complication rate ( P 〉 0. 05 ). Conclusions The improved pipeline suture can reduce the incidence of unplanned extubation, and improve the safety of nursing care.
