Methods A total of 123 cases of patients with pericardial drainage tube in our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were randomly divided into observation group and control group. From January to September 2015, 60 cases were treated as the control group. From October 2015 to June 2016, 63 cases were treated as the observation group. The control group was given routine care, and the observation group was given integrated nursing care. The unplanned extubation rate, patient satisfaction and medical cooperation were compared between the two groups. Results The unplanned extubation rate in the observation group was 1.60%, while it was 15.00% in the control group. The satisfaction of patients and the satisfaction of medical care were improved, and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The integration of medical care can effectively reduce the rate of unplanned extubation in patients with pericardial effusion, improve the satisfaction of patients and the satisfaction degree of nursing cooperation.
