Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of emergency nursing program in traumatic shock patients. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed to emergency nursing programs for 43 traumatic shock patients in the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University from June 2016 to June 2017 along with summarizing nursing experience. Nursing main points included evaluating condition, monitoring patients' condition closely, position, keeping warm, establishing venous access immediately, controlling pain, controlling hemorrhage and mental intervention. Results The average rescue time was (38.49±5.62) min. A total of four patients died after rescue due to severe wounds, and 39 patients had successful rescue with 90.70% for the success rate of rescue. Family members' satisfaction was 95.35% at discharge. Conclusions Emergency nursing has significant clinical effects in traumatic shock patients. It is worth to be referred in clinic.
