Abstract

AbstractA truly meshless numerical procedure to simulate stochastic elliptic interface problems is developed. The meshless method is based on the generalized moving least squares approximation. This method can be implemented in a straightforward manner and has a very good accuracy for solving this kind of problems. Several realistic examples are presented to investigate the efficiency of the new procedure. Furthermore, compared with other meshless methods that have been developed, the present technique needs less CPU time.
