Abstract

Digital twin technology is widely used in aerospace and manufacturing fields. It is the key technology for the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry and the realization of intelligent manufacturing. In this paper, the digital twin technology is applied to the automobile rear axle assembly. Taking the assembly line as an example, the basic framework of the digital twin system is introduced in detail. The sensor technology and data communication technology are used to collect the physical entity data. The data are reflected into the virtual space constantly to realize the synchronous operation of the digital twin system and the real production. This paper also introduces the potential application of data analysis in the digital twin system, and summarizes the problems in the digital twin system from three aspects: data transmission efficiency, computer operation efficiency and data security.
