Abstract

The more and more obvious "multi-source" characteristics of the distribution network make the traditional distribution network development model no longer suitable for the development needs of the distribution network in the new era. At the same time, higher requirements are put forward for the safety and reliability of the power supply of the distribution network. At present, DC switch (including DC circuit breaker, DC load switch, flexible multi-state switch, etc.) has been widely used in flexible DC transmission and distribution system, and its advanced technology and operational reliability have been verified. In the intelligent upgrade of traditional AC distribution network, the application of DC switch and power electronic technology will play an important role in promoting. High design and manufacturing costs of DC switches hinder their application in AC power distribution systems. Aiming at several typical application scenarios, this paper solves the fatal problem of traditional distribution network by optimizing the configuration of DC switchgear, which opens up a new idea for the intelligent transformation of distribution network.
