Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of medical glue in conjunctival flap covering surgery for corneal ulcer.Methods α-cyanoacrylate medical glue was used to cover anastomosis and solidified after suture fixation of conjunctival flap for corneal ulcer.Contrast observation was made on medical glue group and control group.Results The medical glue group was significantly superior to control group in recovery rate,suture cutting,rollback of conjunctival flap,exposure and healing time of ulcer area (P < 0.05) ; The exfoliative time of medical glue was (10.2 ± 2.3) d,the patients had obviously foreign body sensation and felt better after local medicine application.Soft contact lens could relieve symptoms in 3 cases.Conclusion The application of α-cyanoacrylate medical glue in the conjunctival flap covering operation for corneal ulcer can significantly improve the success rate.
