Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of CT in analysis of surgical efficacy after medial- inferior orbital wall fracture repair surgery. Methods The date of 45 eyes of 45 cases with medial- inferior orbital wall fracture with enophthalmos were collected and analyzed retrospectively. All cases underwent orbital fracture surgery, the follow-up time was 3 months. Edge points of fracture, repair of bony buttress, morphological characteristic shape of the implanted titanium mesh after surgery were analyzed by CT . The correlation between fracture repair and the surgical efficacy was studied. Results After surgery, the degree of enophthalmos was within 2mm, the repairment of bony buttress was the most important factor for enophthalmos after surgery. Superior margin of medial orbital wall and concave shape of titanium mesh were both relevant to surgical efficacy. The correlation between exterior margine of inferior orbital wall and enophthalmos was small. Conclusion The observation on repair of orbital fracture by CT is evaluated the surgical efficacy. Key words: CT; Orbital fracture; Enophthalmos; Bony buttress
