Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of cluster nursing in the treatment of intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation. Methods Two hundred and forty patients with the treatment of intra-aortic balloon counter pulsation in CCU were chosen and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table, each with 120 cases. The control group received the routine nursing, and the observation group received the cluster nursing including strengthening risk evaluation, improving basic nursing, proper anticoagulant therapy, cooperation nursing and psychological nursing of extubation. The complications and average hospitalization time in patients of the two groups were observed. Results The overall incidence rate of complications in the observation group was 10.0%, and were lower than 20.8% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant ( X2 = 5.40, P 〈 0. 05 ). The average length of hospital stays was ( 10.55 + 2.19) d in the observation group, and was less than ( 17.65 ± 2.21 ) d in the control gwup, and the difference was statistically significant (t = - 10. 217, P 〈 0.05). Conclusions Application of cluster nursing in the treatment of intra - aortic balloon counter pulsation can effectively reduce the incidence of complications, and shorted the hospital stays in CCU, and has a positive significance to improve the quality of medical and nursing.
