Abstract
Objective To investigate the value of clinical pathway in health education in elective Caesarean section.Methods 100 pregnant women undergoing elective Cesarean section were randomly divided into clinical pathway group and control group.Length of hospital stay,medical costs,level of health knowledge, and patient satisfaction with medical services.Results The clinical pathway group was superior to the control group in length of hospital stay,medical costs,level of health knowledge,and patient satisfaction with medical services.Conclusions Health education by using clinical pathway can increase levels of health knowledge and patient satisfaction with medical services,and shorten length of hospital stay,and lower medical costs.
