Abstract

Objective To explore the role of clinical nursing pathway in primipara during childbirth.Methods 240 pregnant women were randomly divided into study group and control group ( 120 for each group ).The study group received clinical nursing pathway,while the control group received routinc obstetrical care.The satisfaction on nursing care.,standard rate of nursing quality,basic knowledge of maternal feeding and maternal and infant health care, and neonatal nursing skills, and postnatal complications were compared between the two groups.Results There was significant difference between the study group and the control group in satisfaction on nursing care ( 97.50% vs.90.00% ),standard rate of nursing quality ( 100% vs.90.83% ),basic knowledge of maternal feeding and maternal and infant health care,and neonatal nursing skills ( P< 0.05 ).The incidence rate of postnatal complications was significantly lower in the study group than in the control group ( P< 0.05 ).Conclusions Application of clinical nursing pathway can improve the nursing quality and satisfaction level on nursing care.It is worth popularizing.
