Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of clustering nursing strategies and the impact on nursing quality in the management of pressure sores in elderly patients with operating room. Methods A total of 1 560 cases of elderly patients in the operating room who were admitted to this hospital from July 2015 to March 2017 were selected and randomly divided into control group and experimental group, 780 cases of each group. The patients in the control group were given routine nursing interventions, and the patients in the experimental group performed bundled nursing interventions on the basis of routine care. After two weeks of intervention, the incidence, occurrence time, quality of life, and quality of care were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of pressure sores in the experimental group was 1.28% (10/780), lower than that in the control group 10.26% (80/780). The time of occurrence (9.20±2.10) days was later than that of the control group (5.06±2.12) days, and the difference was statistically significant (P 0.05). After two weeks of intervention, SF-36 score in both groups increased, and the increase in the study group was even greater, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The nursing quality of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of clustering nursing in pressure ulcer treatment in elderly patients in operating room can effectively reduce the incidence of pressure sores, delay the occurrence of pressure sores, improve the quality of care and quality of life of patients, and it is worthy of clinical application. Key words: Operating room; Pressure sore care management; Bundled care; Quality of care; Quality of life
