Abstract
This paper was motivated by the need to improve on the way elections are held and managed. This was to be achieved by proposing constant review of the electoral process. However, the lack of a clear method/technique to follow to that effect presented a stumbling block more so for under developed countries like Uganda. The paper forms a basis for the design proposes a customized BPR methodology that enhances electoral process reengineering in under developed countries. The methodology involved a review of BPR methodologies to assess the level of usage and highlight those which can be recommended for adoption. Design Science approach was used to design the methodology based on literature and field findings collected using questionnaires and interview guides. The methodology was evaluated to approve its appropriateness and the results proved so.
