Abstract

The Belt and Road (B&R) Initiative brings huge development opportunities for my country's engineering construction field and puts forward higher requirements for engineering construction management technology. BIM technology has good visualization, coordination, optimization, simulation and drawing ability, and is considered to be an important means to improve the degree of informatization on engineering construction management. This paper takes the Mauritius cruise passenger terminal building project as the research background, uses Revit, Tekla and other BIM software to carry out architectural conceptual design, steel structure deepening, comprehensive coordination and engineering calculation, which significantly improves the efficiency of the project and reduces to rework. It is hoped that the research results can provide reference to the research and application of BIM technology in international engineering.
