Artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized various industries, including the gaming industry. With the advent of AI, game developers can now create more sophisticated and engaging non-playable characters (NPCs) that can interact with players and adapt to their behavior. NPCs are an essential component of modern games as they provide a more immersive gaming experience by adding depth and complexity to the game world. AI techniques have enabled developers to create NPCs that exhibit more human-like behavior, making them more realistic and engaging for players. In this paper, we explore the application of AI techniques for creating NPCs in games. We discuss various AI approaches, including machine learning, for enhancing the capabilities of NPCs.
