Application of a New Simulation Training System for Marine Oil Separators

Abstract

Aiming at the problems of the old models of fuel oil and lube oil separators in the existing domestic and foreign marine engine simulators, which can not carry out fault checking training and can not meet the requirements of the existing seafarers’ assessment standards, based on the composition and working principle of Alfa SU type separator, the mathematical models of fuel and Lube oil separator pipeline system, SU oil separator and EPC50 control unit are established by using modular modeling method By using VC + + , the calculation program and visual operation interface of the mathematical model are compiled, and the SU oil separator simulation training system is developed and applied to the evaluation training and assessment of seafarers organized by Liaoning Maritime Administration The simulation experiment and application practice show that the operating interface is the same as that of the real system, and the simulation model can accurately reflect the changing rule of the real system and reproduce the common fault phenomena, it meets the requirements of Seafarers’ evaluation criterion.
